Federal Advisory Committee Act Management

The Federal Advisory Committee Act governs the establishment, operation, and termination of advisory committees within the executive branch of the Federal Government. The Committee Management Secretariat at GSA provides oversight on the government-wide FACA program, including working with executive branch agencies and departments regarding compliance with the Act and reporting on executive branch activities under the Act.
